Campers perform in a professional production of High School Musical, Jr., The performances are open to the public. We accept 24 Young Professionals for Broward Center and NSU/Miniaci Performing Arts Center venues only and an audition video is required.  Acceptance is determined on a rolling admissions basis, so you are encouraged to submit your audition video as early as possible.


We're all in this together in Disney Channel's smash hit musical phenomenon featuring the students of East High.

Young Professionals audtion submission dates:
March 19 (Decisions made by March 21)
April 16 (Decisions made by April 18)
May 14 (Decisions made by May 16)

Audition Video Content must include:
Acting: 1 minute monologue — comedy
Singing: 1 minute of a show tune – sung to a track or piano accompaniment music, NO VOCALS. Use only the camera mic and not a handheld microphone.

Video Submission Procedure:

What to Prepare: 
20 measures of a show tune or pop song. Bring either sheet music or an accompaniment (karaoke) CD. No vocals should be on the track.  Or you may bring your music on an external device and we will have the appropriate AUX cord.  Wear comfortable clothes for possible dance and improv/acting after the singing audition.  The audition will take approximately one hour.

What to Bring: 
A picture (headshot, school picture or a clear snapshot) and a résumé of any theater-related experience.

We rehearse every Thursday from 6:30-9pm and Saturdays from 3:30-6:30pm.  You should be available for most of these days.
Our tech/dress rehearsals are on April 23, 24, 25 & 26.  You must be available for all of these dates.

The show is on April 27 and 28 at 7:30pm.  You may have to be excused from school a little early on the 27th.  You must be available all day on the 28th.
